This week the Oosterpark play garland was finally put into use! The playobject, a raised walk-climb-slide-bridge, is situated in the north-west corner of the Amsterdam citypark, in front of a children's daycare. The Oosterpark is currently being renovated and will double in size, a transformation that is designed by landscape architects Sant en Co, with whom Carve also worked on other occasions. The play garland, which subtly changes its colour, plays an important role in re-activating the city park. Soon we will post the full story behind the play garland!
